Due to popular demand I am going to try posting some pictures.
Here's one from the lower end of the meadow toward the buildings. I had to take pictures in the morning because I was going to be busy later so the light is a little poor.
The house is not really worth looking at but you can see it peeking out from the trees on the left. The barn should be obvious and the garage is to the right.

To the right is one of several better pictures of the barn. I love old barns so you'll see lots of this! This one is the view from out of my window, though I was standing outside the window while taking the picture, it's not through the glass!

To the left is one of the south side of the barn. As you can surely see everything needs a good coat of paint! Otherwise the barn needs new roofing, windows, some of the doors tightened up and some new hinges as well as I am going to build more stalls inside. Right now the cows find it nice and cozy, it's double walled so the wind usually stays out.

And here is the one I am sure everyone has been waiting for. My shack, or to use the nice and cozy term "Cabin". It too needs paint badly but that will have to wait until spring. It sure was interesting towing this thing down the road on the trailer! If you look you will be able to see two chimeny pipes, the crooked one is for the kitchen stove that I use for baking things, the other I use more often since the heat is better. It's a new addition that has been one of the better ones!

Here it is in relation to the house.
Below is the view showing the "big"window if you look carefully you'll see the ice "spears" hanging off of the roof.

Here's a view of the place as you are coming up the driveway. You can see the grain elevator far in the back and to the left.

And here is the house, broken windows and all. The high school kids decided to have a party...

I should post more but I am running out of time. Maybe later.

Thanks for posting the pictures! The barn looks absolutely huge! And the whole place looks great.
Pictures!!! Now we get the picture of what you're up to! (Pun not intended. :)) Your cabin looks quite cozy, and as Jonathan said, the barn looks huge!
Great!
Who took the pictures? If you look carefully (maybe you already noticed it) there's the shadow of the photographer on the bottom picture, left bottom corner.
I am so happy to see that you have your very own farm, Chris!!! Now, the possibilities are limitless for you. With your imagination and energy, that place will be the envy of the whole countryside in no time. :)
